I had a wonderful time recording with Voice Republic. The material chosen for me was spot on. The recording session was a lot of fun, with super helpful direction. I was extremely happy with my reel and would highly recommend (and do!) The Voice Republic to anyone hoping to have the best quality reel in terms of both material and quality! 

My experience recording a voice reel with Adam at The Voice Republic was fantastic. It can be quite a nervy thing to do but from the first contact on zoom to discuss content,  through to recording in the booth, I was made to feel at ease and because I felt comfortable was also able to take on board tips and suggestions without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. My show real sounds really great and just like me! I feel very confident walking into a job knowing that they have listened to it and booked me because of it. Thank you Voice Republic!

Adam worked closely with me one to one to create a new voice reel that felt current, relevant and really representative of me as a voice actor – focusing on commercial and corporate tones. We started with a one to one consultation where we discussed scripts, ideas and what I wanted the reels to achieve. When I came into the studio, Adam immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. He directed me brilliantly throughout the session and made the whole process feel really easy and enjoyable. Now I have the finished reels and they are, quite simply, really good! I couldn’t recommend Adam enough.

From the get-go, Adam and the team were very attentive, friendly and capable. It was reassuring to go through the consultation process with a team that really know their stuff! Often, as the actor, we are concerned with what voices we can do rather than what a director, client or audience is looking for. Adam was invaluable in helping me hone the performance, as well as creating a fun and engaging recording session. Would definitely recommend working with The Voice Republic (and I hope to do so again soon)!

Absolutely chuffed with my new reels. Adam knew exactly which scripts would suit my voice and what makes up a good reel. The recording itself was a blast and Adam is fantastic at giving direction. Hearing his take on how something should be delivered was so refreshing; it felt like coaching and reels wrapped into one! Finally, the reels themselves turned out brilliant. Adam is a wizard of a sound engineer so they sound utterly fabulous.

I had a fantastic experience with Adam and the Voice Republic team when recording an update to my reels. The initial script consultation process was thoughtful and personalised. I came to the call armed with my own research and thoughts on what I wanted out of the revamp, which was listened to and met with experienced, insightful suggestions. Together, we navigated specifics - suitable brands to target, variation of vocal qualities, tones and styles - with an easy, collaborative spirit, and the scripts were seamlessly whipped up. In the booth on the day, we moved at a well-judged pace: thorough preparation was evident, any anxieties were handled with patience and care, direction was diligent and pleasingly specific. I felt like I was given the space and encouragement to deliver my best work. On completion, I was delighted with the quality of the recordings; the edits had been skilfully engineered with an excellent ear for quality and tiny details like backing music. So whether you’re looking for a reel refresh or starting out from scratch, I’d highly recommend.

I had a great time updating my reels with the The Voice Republic team. First, we liaised with my agents on what they felt they needed from my new reels, then Adam and I followed up with a video call to try out lots of different scripts to see what suited. During that session, we discussed tone and what we were trying to do with each read so that we were already ahead when we got into the booth. Adam's insight was invaluable. He was very happy for me to cut and edit scripts myself and make suggestions so it felt like a genuinely collaborative process. Once we were in the studio, we were able to work really efficiently as so much of the ground work had already been done and Adam gave detailed clear direction to level up my reads. I was listening back to all of my samples earlier and if I hadn’t already known, I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between my new reels and the clips of some of my recent commercial and corporate jobs. They sound brilliant, professional and they’re incredibly varied. I’m thrilled with them.

Recording my commercial reel with Adam at The Voice Republic Studio was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We began by agreeing on the overall feel we wanted for the reel, focusing on natural, relatable and conversational deliveries. Adam was a great listener and we both pitched ideas for the scripts, which made the process feel really collaborative. Once we’d agreed on the final scripts, I had plenty of time to practise before recording day, so I felt well prepared and confident going into the studio. The session itself was super relaxed, and Adam’s excellent direction really helped me get the best out of each performance. I came away with a reel that feels authentic to me and showcases what I can do, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
